For more than twenty years, Alex Turcotte has worked where technology, product and governance meet, including more than fifteen years at a leading Canadian capital markets organization, where platforms are critical and regulation is demanding.
There he held technology and product leadership roles, with full responsibility for digital products used by key capital markets participants. That experience shapes his approach: technology only creates value when it serves clear, shared and well-understood needs.
His background spans every discipline of a software product: software developer, solution architect, DevOps specialist, founder of that organization’s UX centre of excellence, then IT director in charge of governance and cybersecurity. That is what lets him build custom tools with AI today that are reliable, secure and easy to hand over.
He works alongside leadership teams to clarify priorities, keep risk under control and turn technology decisions into business results, with a calm, structured and pragmatic style that is particularly useful in times of transition, modernization or growth.
